Master Electrician
BS, Robotics Engineering

In 2020, while pursuing Robotics Engineering at Widener University, I started Matlack Electric. I started by offering simple residential repairs and am now proud to offer a wide variety of services to both residential and light-commercial customers with even the most challenging jobs. My approach to the electrical trade is distinct, blending years of hands-on, field-learned experience with a solid foundation of engineering. This synergy of practical skills and theoretical knowledge uniquely equips me to tackle even the most complex of issues. In 2023, I earned the prestigious status of Master Electrician by passing the International Code Council (ICC) Philadelphia 211 Master Electrician Exam.

Safety

Safety is the top priority at Matlack Electric. We understand the importance of creating a safe environment for both our clients, ourselves, and those working around us. This commitment is upheld through strict adherence to the highest industry safety standards and ongoing safety training. Our approach ensures that every project is not only completed with the utmost skill but also with the highest regard for safety and well-being.

OSHA 10

Safety should be the top priority for all contractors. I’ve completed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Outreach Training, which means that I’m trained in workplace safety standards and health regulations. This comprehensive training in occupational safety and health not only helps minimizes risks but also underscores my commitment to creating a safe working environment for myself, my clients, and trade partners.

NFPA 70E

I go the extra mile in electrical safety by ensuring that I am trained in the National Fire Protection Association’s standards. The 70E training focuses on understanding and mitigating electrical hazards in the workplace. My expertise in this area guarantees that all my electrical work is conducted with the utmost safety and compliance, effectively safeguarding against electrical accidents.

AHA BLS

Prevention is always the best approach, yet medical emergencies can occur, whether related to the job or not. With my training in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, I’ve equipped myself with crucial skills like CPR and AED usage. This preparedness is not just about responding to emergencies; it’s a reflection of my deep commitment to safety and my ability to provide effective assistance in critical situations.
